Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. She lived off of an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her funds. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy with her performance compared to that of the other students. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. The band did not appear on the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She was the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva and it was released in 1992. The album had a tremendous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera came out by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were improvised. This E.P. is the companion album of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now, I'll let You Go... The album is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish musician and political activist. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to become famous internationally in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992 with an album titled Diva. It featured many famous songs like walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa, her 1995 album studio features cover versions of No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and the compilation album have a lot of hits.
