Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in America. She made her acting debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. Following that, she was part of the Brat pack and appeared on WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. Sheedy was honored with an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. On the 12th of April, in 1992 Sheedy was married by actor David Lansbury who was the cousin of actress Angela Lansbury and son of Edgar Lansbury the original producer of Godspell.
