Shay Mitchell is Canadian actress,model and entrepreneur. Her most well-known role was that of Emily Fields from the Freeform television series Pretty Little Liars. After achieving great results with modeling and dance, she decided to try her hand at acting and took acting lessons in Toronto. Mitchell landed some commercials and guest roles in TV series. She got her break in the form of played Emily Fields' role in Pretty Little Liars. The show was highly praised for its talents by critics as well as viewers. The career in film began with the film Dreamland, followed by Mother's Day, as well as The Possession of Hannah Grace. Her role in the psychological thriller series "You" has earned her greater recognition. Apart from actingShay has also dabbled in writing. In her teens, she had modeled for a variety of companies across the globe. She travelled to Barcelona, Bangkok, Hong Kong and then returned to Toronto and began her studies in acting.
